As far as philosophy of knowledge is concerned,it is always related to two basic questions:what is knowledge, and how do we acquire knowledge. In order to solve these problems, the philosophers have paid a lot of energy, also put forward different ideas.Today, with the popularization and application of Internet technology in the scope of the whole society,Wikipedia has become the most popular source of knowledge for the public in the current era. However,at the same time, the success of the network encyclopedia is also accompanied by many voices of doubts. So,can we provide a way to understand the new sources of knowledge of Wikipedia? This is the core problem to be solved in this paper. The main body of this paper is divided into three parts. The first chapter pointed out that it is necessary to make use of the social resources to evaluate the testimonial knowledge. The analysis of this chapter pointed out that, because of the acquisition of knowledge from testimony is a common phenomenon, the basic justification must make use of social resources in order to evaluate this process. The second chapter mainly focus on what is the basis of the evaluation of the testimonial knowledge sources. On the basis of criticizing the relevant analysis of the epistemology of testimony, this chapter would point out,the reasons that we believe others must be based on the resources under a certain social and historical conditions. That is to say,for the evaluation of testimonial knowledge,we need to make use of contextual resources. In the third chapter,we will use the conclusion of the first two chapters to find a suitable knowledge evaluation basis for Wikipedia.
