Research On The Method Of Determining The Level Of Urbanization Based On Physical Regions

Urbanization is a complex social phenomenon that transforms from rural to urban,including population,economy,landscape land,society and so on.The level of urbanization can reflect the comprehensive strength and the level of social and economic development in a region.The evaluation of the real urbanization level is conducive to probe into relationship between urbanization and economic development,social development,to grasp the stage and characteristics of urbanization in China,to forecast the trend of urbanization more accurately.And it is helpful to make and timely adjust of government decision to promote urban and rural planning and people-oriented new urbanization in an orderly manner.How to evaluate the level of urbanization consistent with the reality through by scientific and objective methods has been the focus of scholars.Firstly,the concept and connotation of urbanization and the evaluation methods of urbanization level are reviewed,and the changes of the standard of urban and rural division and urban population statistics are sorted out,then the influence of the changes of the definition standard to the evaluation of urbanization level was analyzed.The population of the city is adjusted,through the analysis of the characteristics of the study area and field investigation,and the ratio of the urban population to the total population is finally used to get the level of urbanization in the study area.According to the characteristics of each location in Zhangqiu city and the development of urbanization,the 20 streets and towns in Zhangqiu are divided into 5types: the core towns,near core towns,general type towns,hilly agriculture towns and agricultural towns.Urban population in Zhangqiu is mainly concentrated in the core towns,near core towns and is located in the middle of Zhangqiu,near the trunk of the street and the town government resident.But urban population is low,the level of urbanization is low in the northern agricultural towns and the hilly agriculture towns.The urbanization level of Zhangqiu in 2014 is measured as 43.27%.The results objectively reflect the actual situation of urbanization level in Zhangqiu.The level of urbanization in Zhangqiu is in the middle of the primary stage of urbanization,the urbanization develops rapidly;The level of urbanization in Zhangqiu lags behind the level of economic development to a certain extent,the government should encourage and promote the construction and development of urbanization.At last,the shortcomings of this paper are analyzed and the future methods of the evaluation of urbanization level and the development of urbanization in Zhangqiu are forecasted.
