Research On The International Competitiveness Of China's Agricultural Products Foreign Trade (1978-2016)

In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s agricultural "going global" strategy,the status of agricultural trade has become more and more important," the Belt and Road " link along the more than 100 countries and international organizations rich agricultural resources and endowments,But also for China’s agricultural products to go abroad to create a broader market.In particular,since the accession to WTO,the foreign trade market is highly open,the average level of tariffs has declined,all kinds of opportunities and challenges exist at the same time,China’s total agricultural trade volume increased rapidly,but the deficit also will continue to expand.To further expand the foreign trade of agricultural products and to improve the trade deficit of agricultural products,it is necessary to improve the international competitiveness of agricultural products as an important starting point.In this paper,as the research framework,the modified Porter "diamond model" in-depth analysis of China’s agricultural products affect the international competitiveness of the factors in order to tap its trade potential,and ultimately to improve its competitive advantage to make reasonable recommendations.This paper focuses on three parts,the changes of foreign trade in agricultural products,the evaluation of international competitiveness of agricultural products,and the analysis of influencing factors of agricultural products competitiveness.On the basis of expounding domestic and foreign related literature and books on foreign trade of agricultural products,this paper clarifies the connotation and function of foreign trade of agricultural products,and analyzes the connotation and function of foreign trade of agricultural products.Competitiveness of the "diamond model" in the impact of various factors on the role of industrial competitiveness.Then,from the perspective of historical analysis,the paper analyzes the changes and characteristics of China’s agricultural trade since the reform and opening up,which is another important cornerstone of the international competitiveness of China’s agricultural products.On this basis,the paper focuses on the comprehensive evaluation of the tradeperformance index of the international competitiveness of China’s agricultural products,and analyzes the factors influencing the international competitiveness of China’s agricultural products with the revised "diamond model" as the logical main line,taking into account its trade potential.Finally,it summarizes the suggestions to help improving the international competitiveness of China’s agricultural products.First,improving product quality to follow the domestic and international market demand;Second,developing the logistics and processing industry to enhance the comparative advantage of agricultural products;Third,adjusting the agricultural management structure to reduce production costs;Fourth,guiding domestic and foreign healthy competition,optimize the agricultural trade environment;fifth,waving the " visible hand " of government to promote the healthy development of agricultural trade.
