Study On Competitiveness Of Communication Electronics Equipment Industry In Fujian

Communication electronics equipment industry is a typical industry which belongs to high technology industry and equipment manufacturing industry at the same time.Due to its strong impetus ability,communication electronics equipment industry has become the major influence factor affecting the competitiveness or development potential of a country or region.In recent years,Fujian's communication electronics equipment manufacturing industry has gained adequate development with an ever-increasing scope and growing influence.What's more,communication electronics equipment manufacturing industry is one of the three leading industries in Fujian,making Fujian one of the most important communication electronics equipment manufacturing industry clusters in China.Therefore,research on the evaluation and influence factor of competitiveness of Fujian's communication electronic equipment manufacturing industry is of great realistic significance.This study will help Fujian's communication electronic equipment manufacturing industry seize the opportunity to seek the further development in an all-round way and provide the powerful dynamic for Fujian's economy.What's more,this study can also give impetus to industrial transformation and upgrading and help Fujian province to shift its growth from investment driven mode to innovation driven mode.Firstly,this paper defines the concept of connotation of industrial competitiveness,and then on this basis,analyzes the current situation of communication electronics equipment manufacturing industry in Fujian from the industrial scale,industrial benefit,technological innovation and industrial concentration.What's more,this paper analyzes the environment of communication electronics equipment manufacturing industry in Fujian based on the framework of SWOT,which will deliver a better understanding of its characteristics for readers.Secondly,this paper constructs evaluation system of competitiveness of telecommunication electronic equipment manufacturing industry in Fujian Province from Scale competitiveness,efficiency competitiveness,innovation competitiveness and environmental competitiveness these four dimensions.And comprehensively evaluates the competitiveness of the industry in Fujian using factor analysis method.The results show that:from 2000 to 2014,the overall competitiveness of Fujian communication electronic equipment manufacturing industry competitiveness was of the overall upward trend,and it began to increase significantly from the "11th Five-Year" later,entering the stage of rapid development.Thirdly,by using the impulse response functions,this paper empirically analyzes the influence factors of communication electronics equipment manufacturing industry,and the result of which shows that industry capital intensity,urban residents per capita disposable income and R&D expenditure,new product output rate and foreign direct investment has a positive impact on Fujian's competitiveness of communication electronics equipment industry and among them the contribution of new product production value and industry capital intensity to competitive power is the highest,followed by per capita disposable income of urban residents,the contribution of R&D expenditure and foreign direct investment to competitiveness were respectively stable at around 2%and 7%.Finally,this paper provides suggestions from the perspective of industrial concentration,enterprise strategy,technological innovation and government function according to the problems in current Fujian's communication electronics equipment manufacturing industry.
