Research On The Process Management Of Accelerate The Rhythm Of Weldding Pipe Production Project Based On 6 Sigma

Short delivery time and product quality improvement are two important targets for an enterprise to improve production management and gain the highest profit.Six sigma project,which could not only accelerate the rhythm of production and reduce defects,but also help enterprise gain unprecedented financial returns,is the most desirable method to achieve both targets mentioned above.As a new branch of management,project process management is not only a management philosophy,but also a new management mechanism that is aimed at streamlining project process.Meanwhile,project process management is also perceived as a technique to improve an enterprise's process.Rhythm of production is an important comprehensive index as well as a systematic index for HFW mill,which involves several processes in the line production.The acceleration of production rhythm of HFW finishing line not only improves quality of products,shortens manufacturing cycle,boost customers' satisfaction,but also boosts lean and six sigma production efficiency of production line via effective project management,making HFW mill keep current competitive advantage as well as profit.Combined with Baosteel HFW mill production,this article focuses on the research of acceleration of HFW finishing line's line pipe production rhythm.The status of production line and background of this project is introduced first,which bases the improvement opportunities and key factors that influence project target.Then effective and efficient improvement measures are given.Finally,verification and feedback of measures are made.On the basis of the project of How to Accelerate Baosteel HFW Mill's Production Rhythm,all the phases such as defining,decision making,planning,designing,implementing,controlling,completing and delivering,are combined into DMAIC process in order to explore a management method that is suitable to Baosteel's other similar production line.The explored management method is expected to help realize perfect and effective project process management in Baosteel and set the stage for better promotion and implementation of six sigma projects.
