Research On Problem Analysis And Improvement Measures On Material Management Of HBM Company

With the fierce competition among car enterprises in Chinese market escalating,which is clearly reflected not only in the competition of sales,sales of volume,but also in the competition of cost.In order to lower the cost,each company is unceasingly in search of efficient solutions.Due to its large proportion in the total cost of an enterprise,material management has attracted even more attention.HBM as a joint venture company,which has a market share rising greatly in recently,the headcounter in Germany has increased the investment to Chinese market and pushed to increase the production volume of Chinese plant.While with the increasing on production volume,and also with others Multinational companies or others Automobile company's competition,HBM is facing new challenges to find improvement measures for material management.Against this background,by learning the theoretical knowledge in material management field,the article has showed the main problem of HBM of material management,such as unclear material management process and responsibility,problem of managing local and imported material,problem of managing Inventory materials,then list out measures separately,include changing the BOM management departments,clear work division,set up a cost checking and control team.For Local material,find method to break bottleneck of supplier,keep close eyes on checking of supplier's investment cost,set up efficient cost control rules,lower down the bins lost percentage etc.For imported material,lower down airfreight international transportation percentage,change process to avoid imported parts information missing,change the trade term etc.For material Inventory management,update the goods receiving process,update the goods storage system etc.
