Research On The Impact Of Institutions On China's Undertaking Offshore Service Outsourcing

Currently,global industrial transfer is gradually extending from manufacturing to service industry,service outsourcing plays an important role in promoting the upgrading of a country's industry and promoting its economic development.In the new round of industrial structure adjustment worldwidely,offshore service outsourcing has become the significant industry in which developing countries could actively participate in the global value chain integration and undertake industrial transfer from developed countries.In recent years,the global outsourcing market is fiercely competitive,host-countries are more concerned about the system environment of a country when choosing a partner.In China,offshore service outsourcing is in its infancy with a late start,there is still a big gap in development of offshore service outsourcing compared with Ireland,India and other offshore outsourcing services powerhouse.Therefore,the analysis on the impact of institutional factors to undertake offshore service outsourcing has the practical significance for China to deal with the new pattern of global trade competition and accelerate the development of China's offshore service outsourcing.In this paper,we take the large outsourcing undertaking country-China as the research object,and focus on impact of institutional factors on China's offshore service outsourcing.This paper is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is the introduction which introduces the background and significance of the topic,research ideas and relevant concepts.On this basis,sorting out and reviewing the related research of scholars at home and abroad in three aspects: the motivation about the development of outsourcing service;the influence factors of undertaking offshore service outsourcing;the institutional factors in the development of outsourcing.The second chapter is an overview that China undertakes offshore outsourcing services,in view of status of offshore outsourcing service,development trends and relevant policy to grasp specific circumstances of the undertaking of offshore outsourcing.The third chapter mainly analyses institutional factors on China's offshore service outsourcing based on the correlative viewpoint of New Institutional Economics.On this basis,establishing an offshore outsourcing service model which includes institutional factors,and then proposing the empirical hypothesis through the further analysis of the impact of related institutional factors on offshore outsourcing service.The fourth chapter is the empirical analysis of institutional factors on the offshore outsourcing services,this paper utilizes principal component analysis to evaluate synthetically of Chinese institutional factorsfrom 1995 to 2014 to understand the overall changes in overall institutional factors of offshore outsourcing service,and on this basis,taking advantage of time series regression analysis method to reveals the specific influence of institutional factors on the Chinese offshore outsourcing services,the empirical results show that the improvement of institutional factors contribute to increase Chinese scale of undertaking offshore outsourcing,and different institutional factors have different impact on offshore outsourcing services.The fifth chapter puts forward relevant policy recommendations based on theoretical analysis and empirical results,with a view to provide decision-making basis for promoting the development of offshore outsourcing service and speed up the relevant institutional innovation for China.
