Research On The Influences Of Guangzhou Metropolitanization Process On The Innovation Space System Of Knowledge-intensive Business Services

Metropolitanization is inevitable in the background of globalization and informatization,metropolitan area is a high-level state of urban development.China is in the new era of metropolitanization.Knowledge-intensive business services(KIBS)develops rapidly in the service economy era.KIBS is part of urban space and an important driving force.In this context,we research on what is the metropolitanization process? What stage is it? What constitutes the innovation space system of KIBS? What is the impact of the metropolitanization process on it? How does it affect?Base on the review of literature about innovation space system of KIBS and MD,we divise the stage of metropolitanization process,and analyze the structural characteristics as well as dynamic mechanism of each stage.Elaborating the composition and distribution characteristics about innovation space system of KIBS in each stage.Then,analyzing the influencing factors of the innovation space of KIBS by questionnaire data.Finally,elaborating the influential mechanism of metropolitanization on innovative space system of KIBS and general influencing factors through the whole process.Firstly,according to defining program,we divide the metropolitanization process of Guangzhou into three stages as development stage of peripheral area driven,development stage of central area driven and mature stage.The features of the development stage of peripheral area driven are peripheral area expansing to the north and south,as well as the central area expansing to the east;The features of the development stage of central area driven are the peripheral area expansing to the east,as well as the central area expansing to the north and south rapidly.In this stage,the tertiary industry is the main driving force of employment and economy,which gathers to the central area;In the mature stage,the structure of industry and employment are more reasonable,and the legal person unit and practitioners of KIBS gather to the central area.Secondly,we summarize the types of the innovation space of KIBS,quantity as well as layout of each stages.In the development stage of peripheral stage,the innovation space system of KIBS consists of incubators,high-tech industrial area and cultural creative industrial park.The innovation space system of KIBS evenly distribute in the central and peripheral areas of this stage.The type of the innovation space system of KIBS increases the university science park in the development stage of central area driven.The type is richer,as the number is increased rapidly,which gather to the central area of this stage.The type of the innovation space system of KIBS increases public innovation space in the mature stage.The type is complete,as the number is large,which distribute concentrated in the central area.Finally,we analyze the influence mechanism of metropolitanization process on the innovation space system of KIBS.We analyze the influencing factors about the innovation space of KIBS by questionnaire data.Second industry drives the population to spread to the periphery in the development stage of peripheral.The tertiary industry is the main force of employment and economy,and central area expands rapidly to the north and south,as the number of the innovative space of KIBS increase rapidly and gathers to the central area in the development stage of central area driven.The legal person unit and practitioners of KIBS gather to the central area,and the public innovation space is appeared in the mature stage.Economy,population and space expansion are the general influencing factors,through the whole metropolitanization process.In general,with the metropolitanization process the type of the innovation space system of KIBS is more abundant,as the number is larger,which space layout is more concentrated in the central area.
