The 18th plenary sessions of the party explicitly proposed that we have to put our innovation at the core position of national development.And standing at the starting year of "Thirteen-Five" waves,we have to fully speed the development of the first leading power,to promote the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategies under the new normal.Transportation breeding of economic development mode couldn't without the work of organization ' s intellectual sharing.And as the key protagonist of innovation,enterprises standing still owning to itself.Executives as a core decision-making power leading strategic design and implementation,who is responsible for the organization strategic changes,transformation implementation and business innovation.Under the impact of the Internet and the Information Age of big data,traditional merely relying on development advantages and imitating technical means are no longer applicable,the importance of technology-driven business model is increasingly prominent.This research in reference of upper echelons theory and cognitive psychology theory,takes new venture enterprise's senior management as research object,inquiry for that under China situation,Causation and Effectuation,Efficiency-centered business model design and Novelty-centered business model design's suitable distribution relationship and their impacts on New products innovation performance,while research explores regulating effect of executives' Self-efficacy for the relationship between cognitive logic and business model design.The empirical results show that:(1)Causation and Effectuation is correlated positively with New products innovation performance.(2)Causation and Effectuation is correlated positively with Efficiency-centered business model design and Novelty-centered business model design.(3)Efficiency-centered business model design and Novelty-centered business model design is correlated positively with New products innovation performance.(4)Efficiency-centered business model design and Novelty-centered business model design play fully mediator effect between Causation,Effectuation and New products innovation performance.(5)The assumption that Self-efficacy's positive moderate effect for Causation and Efficiency-centered business model design,Effectuation and Novelty-centered business model design have got no test.And Self-efficacy's moderate effect for Causation and Novelty-centered business model design,Effectuation and Efficiency-centered business model design show no significance and negative relationship.The main innovation of this research is:to introduce the effectuation theory into the business model and new product innovation performance research,and empirically proving that the causation and effectuation are positively correlated with two business model designs and new product innovation performance.And the business model design plays a mediating role,the causation-leading executives tend to achieve better new product innovation performance through the efficiency-centered business model design.The effectuation-leading executives tend to adopt novelty-centered business model design to improve new product innovation performance.The limitation is that all data are subjective,the number of questionnaire need to be further expanded,and the mechanism of internal influence should be further explored in the future.
