The relationship between competitive strategy and enterprise performance has always been one of the important issues in strategic theory research.However,what kind of competitive strategy can bring better performance for enterprises,different scholars'research conclusion is inconsistent,in addition,the current research is lack of clear understanding of the transformation mechanism and the path between the competitive strategy and enterprise performance.In the Internet + and large data information age,for the transformation and upgrading of traditional enterprises,how to successfully implement the enterprise transformation strategy is very important.This paper explores the transformation mechanism between competitive strategy and enterprise performance,combines the concept of business model with competitive strategy,and constructs the research framework of "competitive strategy-business model-enterprise performance",and discusses the mediating effect of business model on the relationship between competitive strategy and enterprise performance.Through research to verify Whether the business model can become a transformation mechanism between competitive strategy and enterprise performance,at last to promote the implementation of the strategy.On the basis of collating the relevant theories and reviewing the relevant literatures,this paper constructs the mediating effect model of the business model on the relationship between competitive strategy and enterprise performance.Based on the theory of strategy and business model,on the one hand,this paper studies the direct effect relationship between "competitive strategy(low cost/differentiation)and enterprise performance","business model(efficiency-centered/novelty-centered)and enterprise performance","competitive strategy and business model";on the other hand,it studies the intermediary effect of business model in "competitive strategy-enterprise performance".In this paper,we use the questionnaire to collect the sample data.Through the empirical analysis of 209 valid questionnaires,the following conclusions are drawn.First,the direct effect:?competitive strategy and enterprise performance has a positive correlation,low cost strategy and differentiation strategy have a significant positive impact on enterprise performance;?business model and enterprise performance has a positive correlation,efficiency-centered business model and the novelty-centered business model have a significant positive impact on enterprise performance;?There is a positive correlation between competitive strategy and business model,the low cost strategy and the efficiency-centered business model and the novelty-centered business model all have positive correlation,differentiated strategy and the efficiency-centered business model and the novelty-centered business model also have a positive correlation;Second,the intermediary effect:the efficiency-centered business model play a mediating role in the relationship between the competitive strategy(low cost/differentiation)and the enterprise performance,the novelty-centered business model can also play a mediating role in the relationship between the competitive strategy(low cost/differentiation)and the enterprise performance,and enterprises are more likely to choose efficiency-centered business models in the implementation of low cost strategies;and choose novelty-centered business models in the implementation of differentiation strategy.In this paper,the study of "competitive strategy-business model-enterprise performance" enriches the research on the relationship between competitive strategy and enterprise performance,and explores the "black box" between the two relations,which has certain management practice significance.First,the manager is aware of the importance of designing a suitable business model;Second,when the enterprise carry out transformation and upgrading,it should be based on the actual situation of enterprises to design the business model,not just focus on business strategy and ignore business model;Third,the research results that enterprises are more likely to choose efficiency-centered business models in the implementation of low cost strategies;and choose novelty-centered business models in the implementation of differentiation strategy.Which provides some suggestions for enterprises in the strategic choice and business model design.
