And Yongzhou city is a main camellia seed oil production spot in Hunan, with an oil production history of more than 2000 years. This paper will take Yongzhou city as an example, analyzing the main advantages and problems in the development of its camellia seed oil industry and the current situation. Through the analysis, this article also brings up suggestions and measures accordingly. The main advantages of Yongzhou regarding to the development of camellia seed oil industry is obvious such as abundant in resources, solid technology support, growing brand image, and thorough policy support.. But the weakness of Yongzhou camellia seed oil industry as following, small financial investment, poor management, is still limited the industry bigger and stronger.To solve the above problems, the government should make more efforts in transforming development models, enhancing support both financially and technically, revising tax and land policies, improving policies to ensure the profits of camellia seed oil business owners, strengthening market management and so on.
