Agriculture is not only the basic industry in the national economy, but also it is the foundation of the nation. Based on the basic principles and methods of coordinated development theory, the thesis collects and sorts out domestic and foreign relevant theoretical research and practical experience related to the adjustment of agricultural structure, and the thesis taking how to restructure the agriculture of Jieshou in Chaling as the research object. Firstly, the thesis investigates the development process of agricultural structure in Jieshou town over the years and finds out the problems in agricultural structural readjustment process. Secondly, by taking the development of the agricultural economy and the development of the environment in Jieshou as a starting point, the thesis constructs the two models:the coordination and coordinated development. And through the two models, the thesis evaluates the coordinated development of Chaling agricultural economy and ecological environment. The thesis concludes the relative low level of coordination of Chaling agricultural economy and ecological environment. The conclusion shows that in the process of the adjustment of agricultural structure optimization, Jieshou town must further improve the coordination level of development, with the aid of the adjustment of the central government’s structure of agriculture production in the new era to promote a new round of opportunity to adjust gradually to achieve the agricultural economy and ecological environment can be at a coordinated high level. Finally The thesis also adjusts the agricultural structure by establishing a major factor indicator system, analyzing it at all levels. By combining with the actual situation of agricultural structure in Jieshou county, the thesis comes up with further comments and suggestions for the agricultural adjustment structure from its necessity and enforce-ability.
