Research On Farmers' Willingness And Influence Factors Of Becoming Urban Residents In Zhejiang Province

Guiding agricultural population to urban transfer,promoting agricultural transfer population becoming urban residents,raising the population urbanization rate,is an important part of improving the quality of China's new urbanization.So the deep study on farmers' willingness and influential factors is helpful to grasp the key points to promote them to become urban residents.This paper summarizes the domestic and foreign scholars on relevant research results,combined with rural “Three Right” in Zhejiang Province,Starting from farmer's own intention angle,proposed to influential factors model system contained with “individual characteristic variables”,“family variables” and “property variables”.Then,according to field questionnaire from three villages in Zhejiang rural reform pilot area,give an analysis of farmers' willingness and its main causes and obstacles.And using two Logistic regression model,with overall sample regression and sub sample regression,reveals the impact mechanism of the factors on the willingness of farmers into the city settled: education,children under 12,the measure of homestead,town house,are the core elements.Based on it,the countermeasures should be proposed: respect farmers' willingness and implement rural “Three Right”;increase opportunities of home ownership in town;enhance farmers' capacity for work;set up perfect social public service system in order to guide an orderly urbanization development,promoting the development of new urbanization.
