Today in the 21 st century,with the deepening of the knowledge economy and the popularity of electronic commerce,the world economy and business environment is undergoing tremendous changes,consumer demand for products is more and more diversified,while the rapid change of consumer demand makes the product life cycle is shortened,the development of technology also make products to be imitated easily,Especially in the handbag industry which is a typical fashion industry,the demand of handbags product also shows the characteristics of diversity,the personalization,the brand.The fashion industry will be ended up no future if they do not have an ability to develop new products.Besides,because of the fashion product life cycle is quite short,which requires enterprises must develop the new products with rapid speed,Otherwise,there will have other brands of the same type grabing market opportunities.Thus,each enterprise urgently need to carry out the study of the Project Schedule Management of New Product Development(NPD)in order to manage the schedule of NPD scientifically and efficiently.Especially the Schedule Management can help the NPD is completed within the targeted timeline,reducing the delay of each part,to win time for NPD and market shares,so as to grab business.This thesis is based on the Project Management,Schedule Management Theory and analysis tools,and taking CH Company's practice of NPD Project Schedule Management as the guidance.First of all,will analysis the present condition of the company's NPD project,then to find out the existing problems which include extensive human resource management,insufficient resources as well as schedule planning is not enough detailed,lacking of schedule control,etc.All these problems have led to the delay of whole processes and an increase of cost.Secondly,this thesis will solve these problems through analysis and research by optimizing the product development organization structure to enable project manager and team members better play their role of and let each link of the schedule in place.To working out amore detailed milestone schedule and gantt chart for those ongoing multiple projects to make sure schedule detailed to a specific work package as well as through strict schedule controlling methods to make sure new product development schedule can be implemented strictly and firmly.Through efficiently making good use of internal and external resources to relieve the difficulty that CH Company is facing with when dealing with multiple projects with insufficient resources.Finally give a summary to full text with the aim of finding out the direction of further research in the future.In addition,hope this thesis can solve the existing problems that CH is currently facing with during the NPD management by improving the efficiency of product development in the aim of cooperating to achieve the goals of company's strategy,as well as providing some experience of project management of NPD to the other low technology content of manufacturing industries.
