Research On The Performance Of China's Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry Based On Intellectual Capital

As one of the five major categories of high-tech industry, pharmaceutical manufacturing industry plays an important role in China’s economic development. In the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, China has great power, but how to develop advanced medical skills are scarce. In pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, pharmaceutical products with low added value, the comprehensive performance is not high and uneven regional development is the practical problems in China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. At present, facing the development of China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, the urgent problem is: how to determine the factors into the region based on the performance of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry? According to the different performance objectives, how to determine the priority of the order about the elements of the input in different regions? In view of the above problems, this paper view on the perspective of the three elements of intellectual capital launched on intellectual capital in pharmaceutical manufacturing and its performance as the research object, quantify, studying on China’s 26 provinces and city from 1998 to 2003, and try to find out the Countermeasures to solve these problems from the perspective of intellectual capital.In this paper, the main conclusions about the research of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry are as follows: 1. The three elements of intellectual capital: human capital, relationship capital and renewal capital have positive effect on the operating performance and innovation performance. 2. Simple model of regression analysis showed that the relational capital contributes on business performance, and the human capital contributes the most on innovation performance. 3. Adjust the addition of variables affecting the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry contribution through the degree of intellectual capital elements on its performance..The innovation points of this paper are:(1) The innovation of research perspective, the development of three-dimensional intellectual capital and the pharmaceutical industry are combined to study to solve the intellectual capital in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and give priority to investment in regional development and regional priority inputs;(2) The innovation of quantitative dimension, draw lessons from the theory of structural holes and researches of the interpersonal relationship and social relationship, this paper has introduced the theoretical basis of the structure in the pharmaceutical manufacturing hole theory in order to better quantify and explain the relational capital effects on pharmaceutical manufacturing performance;(3) The innovation of influence mechanism, based on the investigation of a single variable, this paper combine the three dimensions of intellectual capital factors with the regulating variable to examine, and has a new understanding on the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry under the influence of the intellectual capital performance.
