As a big agricultural province,Shandong is also an important economic crop producing areas.Peanut is widely planted in Shandong.In the area of planting area,output and yield,Peanut is a leader in our country.“Shandong large peanuts” enjoys a good reputation at home and abroad.Shandong peanuts not only meet the needs of the domestic market,but also exported to foreign countries.Luhua and Longda are our province famous brand of peanut oil.According to incomplete statistics,more than seventy percent of peanut suffer different degrees of drought disaster.The average production rate is as high as twenty percent.Because of the special geographical environment,the drought is a historical problem,seriously restricting the production of peanut in Shandong.Although the peanut has the traditional policy-related agricultural insurance protection,the traditional policy-related agricultural insurance have the problem of moral hazard and adverse selection.Therefore,in order to reduce the risk of drought and the disadvantages of agricultural insurance,this paper adopts the weather index insurance in peanut drought index insurance pricing.This paper research peanuts and analyze rainfall in Shandong province.The precipitation anomaly percentage is drought index.Tendency yield get from actual output through the Matlab software.Analyze the quantitative relationship between peanut production rate and the precipitation anomaly percentage.Shandong peanut drought index insurance premium rate is determined.The first chapter introduces the research background and significance.This paper expounds the weather index insurance research achievements at home and abroad.The second chapter analyzes the present weather index insurance situation at home and abroad.The third chapter introduces the current main weather index insurance pricing method.The fourth chapter set Shandong peanut drought index insurance premium rate.According to successful cases at home and abroad,The fifth chapter provides the countermeasures and suggestions.The sixth chapter put forward the conclusion and outlook.Setting Shandong peanut drought index insurance premium rate is the innovation of this article.Combining with the experience at home and abroad,the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
