Recently,climate change and environmental issue caused by human activities has drawn attention of the world,a growing number of countries participate in the development of low carbon economy gradually.In 2009,our country became the world’s biggest greenhouse gas(Green House Gases,GHG)emissions,the contradiction between sustained economic social growth and environmental problem is increasingly outstanding.Henan province as a big province of the central plains in China,the unreasonable industrial and energy structure brought heavy pressure to the ecological environment.The total import and export trade of Henan province in 2015 was 460.02 billion yuan,accounted for the proportion was1.87%,with an increase of 5.02%.As well as the increasing development of foreign trade of Henan province,atmospheric and environmental quality is declining,environmental issues become a major bottleneck restricting the province’s economic and trade development.Based on the above background,this paper applicates Matlab R2012 b software and input-output Model,uses the input and output data for the years of2005,2007 and 2010(42 departments),and based on the corresponding industry energy consumption in the years,to calculate coefficient and amount of carbon emissions in the export trade of Henan province.And it uses the LMDI Model of export trade of Henan province to decompose drive factor of embodied carbon emissions,finding out the main cause of high carbon emissions in the export trade.According to this study,these can be found: export trade development in Henan province is one of the main causes of its increasing embodied carbon emissions.First,the embodied carbon emissions in Henan export trade increased from 75.4371 million tons in 2005 to 217.749 million tons in 2007,and then to372.7702 million tons in 2010,with an average annual growth of 25.64%.Secondly,in the export trade of Henan province embodied driving factor decomposition of carbon emissions,scale effect lead embodied carbon emissions increase significantly;The structure effect works weak and its effects on embodied the change of carbon emissions is uncertain;The improving energy efficiency and production technology progress(technology effect)can significantly reduce embodied carbon emissions.This article includes possible innovations: first,the innovation of research perspective.This article embarks from the provincial level,combined with Henan province export trade characteristics to measure and analyze the province’s embodied carbon emissions in export trade,calculated with a non competitive input-output model of carbon emissions,to reflect more accurately.The second is this paper uses a comprehensive study of multi discipline tools,especially using input-output analysis method,matlab measurement method to make quantitative analysis of embodied carbon emissions in export trade of Henan province and driving factors,enriched the empirical literature on carbon emissions.
