| In recent years,the Mango Industry has played an increasingly important role to improve the income of local farmers and promote local economic development in poor and remote areas of Hainan Province.However the suitable planting area of mango production is limited,the way of expanding the planting area to develop mango industry is not feasible,so increasing the contribution rate of science and technology is the only way for the future development of the mango industry.Scientific and technological extension is the bridge of connecting the scientific research and production and the key of transforming technology into productivity.However,the studies of domestic scholars focused on production technology and industrial development,few studies related science and technology promotion of mango industry.Therefore,researching science and technology promotion performance and its influencing factors of Hainan mango industry has the important significance for increasing the contribution rate of science and technology and the development of the Hainan mango industry.First of all,this paper introduced the theories of innovation diffusion and agricultural science achievements transformation and farmers behavior and performance evaluation to lay the theoretical foundation for this study.Then based on field questionnaire survey and expert consulting,this paper analyzed the current situation and the problems of Hainan mango industrial technology extensionSecondly,based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process,this paper constituted the performance evaluation index system to evaluate the science and technology promotion performance of Hainan mango industry.The evaluation results of promotion performance was obtained:the promotion performance is general.Then this study selected variables from the aspect of the mango farmers and promotion organization and promotion environment.And then used ordered Logistic Regression Model for quantitative analysis,this paper obtained seven factors that influenced the science and technology promotion performance of Hainan mango industry.They are education and mango planting area and annual household income and participating in cooperative organization and growers of promotion organization familiarity and promotion of research quantity and the ways of extension services.Finally,based on the above research conclusions,this study came up with the following suggestions:strengthen the government support and research and promote funds should be rational allocated;the scientific and technological extension system should be established and improved and the mango farmers should be the core of the system;strengthening the professional cooperative organizations and guiding farmers to participate in actively;the ways to obtain services of science and technology extension should be broadened and innovated;strengthening the training of mango farmers to improve their quality. |
