With the development of the market economy and the transformation of the society, enterprises and employees faced with the conflict of economic benefit and social benefit, profit maximization and moral norms.People how to choose, how to treat the ethical problems of tissue begins to be more and more enterprises' concerned. For example, extensive exploration of the protestant work ethic, west and the east to the study of Confucian thought.Many research results show that ethics is an important factor of economic development and social progress. And the employee's work ethic also gradually become a human resource management, organizational behavior, and the focal point of focus in the field of new psychology. This study choose the work ethic, job engagement and performance as the variables. And we choose the job engagement as intermediary variable to explore work ethic mechanism of effects on job performance, and to the development of human resources for the organization and staff training to provide important research basis.On the basis of literature analysis, we will explore and research the performance of the two factors-work ethics and job engagement.We select a city in Shandong province and use questionnaire survey method to explore the relationship of three variables.There are the following conclusions:1.On the work ethic, job involvement and job performance of demographic characteristics: on gender differences, women employees' work ethics are better than men; Male employees' job engagement and work performance are better than women. On age difference, the significant meaning of over 40 employees work less than 20 to 30 years old, 30 to 40 years old staff; Over 40 employees' positive significantly below 20 to 30 years old, 30 to 40 years old staff; On interpersonal harmony, however, more than 40 employees interpersonal harmony degree is significantly higher than 20-30 employees, 30 to 40 years old. On the differences between urban and rural areas, compared with the staff from the city, the employees from the countryside work more hard. The employees' work ethic worst who have a bachelor's degree in enterprise; On job engagement, the employees who have a master's or doctoral degree will spend more, including energy, dedication. On family factors, only children will spend more significantly higher than only children.2. Work ethic, job engagement and job performance are related: ethics were positively related with energy, focus and dedication; Work significance positively related respectively with vigor, focus and dedication; Diligent dedication positively related respectively with vigor, focus and dedication; Interpersonal harmony positively related respectively with vigor, focus and dedication; Hard work positively related respectively with vigor, focus and dedication;3.Work ethic positively predict job involvement and job performance, job engagement positively predict job performance;4.Job engagement plays the mediation role in which work ethics affect job performance.
