The cashmere is the fine downy wool growing beneath the outer hair of the goat for against the cold. If the weather getting colder, the cashmere will get richer and the fibre will be slender. Since the area of Kashmir of Asia was the distribution centre of exporting cashmere to Europe in the history, the fine downy wool is called "cashmere" in the international market; we call it "Kaisimi" by the partial tone of Chinese characters. Be compare with other textile fibres, the cashmere fibre is the hollow fiber. It has no the layer of medullary substance, whose imbricate surface arrange in ring structure and the edge is smoother. Cashmere products are valued for their pure nature, silky handle, warmth, subdued luster without much weight. The cashmere is the precious and rare animal fibre in the world and it is also high-grade raw materials in textile industry. Therefor cashmere is highly prized as "the fibre diamond" and "the soft gold".This essay will combine the current situation and policy in international and domestic cashmere industry, based on environment, technology, present situation of producing and operating of cashmere industry. The essay analyse the developing trends of cashmere industry. The research indicated that there are many manufacturers of cashmere products, many brand of cashmere in the markets. But there is few top grade brands in domestic market. Increasing the technological content of products and building independent brand name will become the subject of competition in the cashmere markets of the world. Now,1436which is being created as the ultimate brand name of cashmere products in the world market by Erdos Group with great effort will has great development potential.
