The concept of embodied cognition means “your body is your brain”.In other words,cognition exists in the brain,the brain exists in the body,the body exists in the environment.The brain,body and environment constitute an organism together.At the same time,they interact with each other to sense things,form concepts and deal with the issues they face.Information is the foundation for human beings to understand the world and explore the development of objective things.It is also the most important part in the process of information services.Information service is used to mobilize all kinds of resources to meet users' information needs,including the collection and sorting of demand information,the use and transmission of information and the tracking and feedback on the effects of use.This article is based on the theory of embodied cognition to explore strategies how we can improve information service quality.In the second chapter,the concepts and features related to embodied cognition are elaborated and information services are described,we mainly focus on the interaction between the cognition process and the information service process.That is,cognition process restricts the information service process and information service effects the influences of personal cognition process.Based on the theoretical basis,the full text in Chapters 3 and 4 respectively elaborates the information service problems caused by ignoring the cognition process of the body and the impacts of the cognition process on the information service effects,including the integrity of information's collection,the adequacy of information's use,the timeliness of information's feedback and the satisfaction with service effectiveness etc.Finally,from the perspectives of physical perception of physicality,physical emotion,physical memory,and service environment,the article proposes related strategies for information service promotion based on the theory of physical cognition.That is,we unify brain,body and environment organically to mobilize the whole body of users,especially focusing on the cooperation of various parts of the body.By this mean the user's perception are increasing,the user's understanding are enhanced,the user's thinking and imagination are mobilized and the user's memory are deepen.Finally users are allowed to understand the environment,adapt to the environment,integrate with the environment,and strive to create an environment for users,thereby enhancing the effectiveness of information services,strengthening the quality of information services,and improving user's satisfaction with information services.
