The “Wisdom Hill” Campus APP Was Redesigned

With the widely use of smart phones,intelligent application(APP)has also been developed rapidly.At the same time,in order to serve students better,many colleges and universities start to launch their own campus APP.Campus APP of Shandong Normal University,"Wisdom Shan Shi"(智慧山师),was released on September 2015.So far it has provided a lot of convenience to all students.However,with the development of information technology,update and improvement of"Wisdom Shan Shi"campus APP has become an urgent problem to be solved.This paper focuses on the re-design of "Wisdom Shan Shi" campus APP.Based on design theory and design principles of intelligent application,we will re-design "Wisdom Shan Shi" about its functions,appearance and interaction.The paper are divided into the following parts:The significance and value of re-design "Wisdom Shan Shi".By introducing the background of campus application and the subject of this research,we will discuss the importance and value of re-designing "Wisdom Shan Shi" from different aspects.Chapter 1: Current situation of Campus APP design.Through the analysis of the campus APP design in China and oversea,we can summarize the main functions of campus APP for the later design.Chapter 2: APP theory and design principles.By investigating the existing campus APP and reviewing relevant literatures,we should understand the basic UI design principles,interface design principles and interactive design principles,which are the theory foundation for the later design.Chapter 3: Analysis of current design of "Wisdom Shan Shi".Based on the characteristics of Shandong Normal University,we will analyze advantages and disadvantages of current “Wisdom Shan Shi” and provide a new design positioning of “Wisdom Shan Shi” by using a questionnaire survey.Chapter 4: Detail of "Wisdom Shan Shi " campus APP re-design.Based on the previous research and analysis,we will re-design "Wisdom Shan Shi" campus APP from these three aspects: function design,appearance design,and interactive design.The research result of this paper can not only benefit teachers and students in Shandong Normal University,but also promote the development and perfection of campus APP design and establish theoretical support for the design of campus APP.
