Research On Face Detection And Recognition System For Home Accompanying Robots

With the development of economy and science and technology,robot technology and its related industries have also opened the rapid development of the prelude to the robot type and technology innovation,making the robot gradually extended to use in various fields.As a kind of robot-service robot,to provide personalized and human services,researchers strive to innovate,service-oriented robot to more and more intelligent direction.The human face detection and recognition system is an important part of the visual system of home escort robot.It is a key technology to realize the friendlyinteraction between robot and human being.In this paper,the face detection and recognition of home escort robots are studied.The main work is as follows:Haar-like features are used to traverse the image extraction feature,and the algorithm is used to filter the feature by using the fast and efficient Adaboost algorithm.The cascade classifier Collected images to detect faces.The use of Gabor wavelet to extract facial features and PCA low-dimensional space can still effectively express facial features of the two advantages combined to effectively improve the face recognition rate.In order to improve the effect of the image on the detection and recognition performance of the light shadow mask,the modified Retinex algorithm is used to pre-process the collected images by comparing the effect of the Retinex correlation algorithm on the image illumination preprocessing.The experimental results show that the image The light shields the face detection rate in the face of the face,and to a certain extent,improve the face recognition rate.Based on 'the theoretical research and practice of face detection and recognition technology under complex lighting conditions,the whole architecture of home care machine vision is designed and the software development platform is constructed.The hardware platform of this paper is the home escort robot of Shanghai Hopewell Company.Face detection and recognition technology is applied to transplanting on the mobile control terminal,which realizes the fast face detection and recognition of the home escort robot.It completes the design,writing and testing of the function modules of the system software,and tries to make the robot more intelligen.
