Face detection is original from face recognition, which is the key section of face recognition system. In recent years, face detection has been attached importance to by researchers as an absolute task with the development of electronic commerce. Nowadays, the application background of face detection has exceeded the range of face recognition system, and there is important applied value in Content-Based Image Retrieval, Digital Video Processing and Visual Supervision and Control etc. But, up to now, due to the complexity of the purpose such as the diversity of face patterns, many of researches can not resolve the problem completely even if they have studied it for long time. The face detection method based on Adaboost raised by Viola is the newest method, it is the first robust and real-time face detect system.In this thesis, the author has done some work on the face detection based on Adaboost, obtaining a good cascade classifier in the end.This thesis focuses on the research of human eyes localization too, The positions of two eyes are commonly used for the geometry normalization of a face image. Eye location is thus a very crucial step for the human face recognition. In particular, this thesis makes two main contribution detailed below:(1) A new method for the human eyes area search based on the human face structure is presented.(2)A fast and accurate method for the localization of human eyes is presented. The method is base on the geometry and the gray information of the human eyes.The author implement the algorithm and experiment in the testing set, obtaining the good effect. |
