As indispensable cultural genes deeply rooted in certain ethnic groups and also part of the regional cultural legacy,intangible heritage of small and medium size features have large number and strong local characters.Nevertheless,due to restraints in its self volume,scale,and input of capital,the protection for such heritages is in an embarrassing situation,there is a lack of effective preservation measures for small and medium intangible heritages,most of which are in crisis of being obliterated rapidly.In order to solve this problem,this paper explore the feasibility and necessity of micro-propagation applied to intangible cultural heritage in the case of clothing from collections of Kong Family Mansion.Micro-propagation is new media of high current social concerns.It refers to use more than one information source,spreading information,in order to demand realization of self expression,communication,social cognition.By exploring micro-propagation in clothing from collections of Kong Family Mansion,we recognized that micro-propagation show advantages and opportunities for development,in the small scale of intangible cultural heritage:Firstly,in terms of propagation,micro-propagation with the aid of various kinds of online media and social media that are highly penetrated nowadays can be utilized to embody the charm of intangible heritages in an environment familiar to users subtly,so as to enhance the dissemination efficiency and thus fulfill protective targets.Secondly,in terms of ideologically,by fully taking advantage of the quite large number of “adhesive”users accumulated in numerous online platforms,human resources,materials and capital can be greatly saved,which happens to solve the issue of the insufficient attention as well investment in small and medium intangible heritage because of its relative weakness in importance and scale compared with world or national level large intangible heritages.It can be served as a new effective and digital method for the current deadlock of protection.Thirdly,in terms of design,micro-propagation also realizes a mutual complementary with traditional approaches.Innovation of the work in this paper is as follows:1.For intangible heritage of small and medium size features protection status,clear play micro-propagation promotion ways,dissemination efficiency is significantly higher than that of promotion is a traditional website,professional advantages of database platform,exploring on the way for small and medium sized digitization of intangible cultural heritage protection.2.In the case of attire pattern from collections of Kong Family Mansion,according to its characteristics with a set using micro-propagation of digital protection scheme,including retrieval,presentation,use of specific content.3.Compared to the web site,database,virtual reality,powerful and expensive means of digital preservation,with micro-propagation platform weak problem,this paper points out that through analysis of different micro-propagation platform advantages,using diverse,networked,integrated application integration of concepts and methods to made up these problems.
