Research On How To Protect The Intangible Cultural Heritage By Building Archives For Tujia In Xiangxi

Intangible cultural heritage reflects the diversity and reveal the identity of the Chinese culture. Protecting、developing and inheriting the intangible cultural heritage is very important to the inheritance of the Chinese culture.However, because of various reasons, such as the sick awareness of the protection from the public, the local government "Pay attention to the declaration, but neglect the protection", the high degree of commercialization, the aging of inheritors, the lack of inheritors, the impact brought by the foreign culture、the modern culture and the market economy, making the intangible cultural heritage endangered or even disappearing. From all of the above reasons we can see that the protection of intangible cultural heritage is extremely urgent. This article which based on archives is trying to explore the intangible cultural heritage of the Tujia of Xiangxi, to study the archival protection mode and implementation mechanism, efficient management and comprehensive development and utilization, to provide strong support for the protection of the intangible cultural heritage of the Tujia of Xiangxi.This article is divided into six parts. The first part describes the research background and current situation at home and abroad, and then points out the research methods and ideas. The second part is to explain the concept, including the meaning of the archival protection, brief introduction of the intangible cultural heritage of the Tujia of Xiangxi,focusing on analysis of the necessity and feasibility of the archival protection of the Tujia of Xiangxi. The third part summarizes the research and the protection achievements which got by Xiangxi, analyzing the present protection situation of the intangible cultural heritage of the Tujia of Xiangxi, namely the main problems for the work at present, and analyzes the reasons. The fourth part applies the archival business links as the breakthrough points, investigates the specific archival protection patterns for the intangible cultural heritage of the Tujia of Xiangxi. The fifth part puts forward implementation mechanism as the indemnification measures. The sixth part is the conclusion.
