With the advance in technology, the rise of network industry and the socialization of information, more attention are paid to innovative library services,by using social network platform to promote user adhesiveness, strengthen interaction between users, and ultimately enhance the value of libraries. For variability and complexity of user information behavior, library social network service is still faced with defects in meeting the users' need, efficient interaction and so on.Studying characteristics and universals of user information behavior, and assessing users' satisfaction with the social network service can help find effective measures to optimize social network service of libraries.Drawing on questionnaires of 500 library users, the thesis presents a basic profile of library users' social information behaviors by descriptively analyzing information searching, information browsing, information exchanging, information opting, and information assessing,in light of theories on user information behavior, social network service and user satisfaction.A satisfaction assessment model of library social service is established through Analytic Hierarchy Process, and by constructing AHP judgment matrix and conducting fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,a conclusion is drawn that there is still a big gap to be bridged between library social network services and the users' expectations.Based on the above findings, the thesis proposes that more attention be paid to propagation of social information network, user interaction, personalized information service, information fusion and the development of innovative functions,so as to promote the users'satisfaction with library social network service and to meet users' demand for information retrieving and exchange in a more effective and accurate manner.
