In 1923,Chinese first radio station was born in Shanghai.Since then,the radio station in Shanghai has undergone a rapid process of development,and Shanghai has become the most concentrated city of radio stations in modern china.After liberation,in order to consolidate the new people's political power and establish and develop the people's broadcasting industry,the people's Government of Shanghai took over and modified the radio stations during the reign of the former national government.From1949 to 1953,Shanghai people's government received the original national government set up direct and control stations,and the private radio stations of the registration audit,at the same time,to control the frequency and power by adjusting the way.In addition,the people's government,on the basis of judging the nature of some radio stations,took the lead in restructuring it and began the trial of public-private partnerships.Subsequently,through the leadership of the Shanghai Municipal People's government and the help of the Shanghai people's broadcasting station,the private radio stations gradually implemented the joint venture and established the joint broadcasting station of Shanghai,which is a public-private joint venture.By November 1953,Shanghai United radio was acquired by Shanghai people's radio station and incorporated into Shanghai people's radio station,and the people's government completed the socialist transformation of the old radio station in Shanghai.
