The new generation of foreign trade 155 Doppler velocity radar is an important instrument for measuring the initial velocity of the self-propelled artillery with a caliber of 155 mm.With the continuous improvement of the accuracy of radar speed measurement,it is of great significance to study a real-time,efficient and high-precision digital signal processing system for radar speed measurement.This paper is to study and implement a new generation of foreign trade 155 Doppler velocity radar real-time signal processing system based on FPGA.According to the application scenarios of a new generation of foreign trade 155 Doppler speed radar,based on the analysis of its working principle,discusses the method of influence on the radar accuracy analysis of traditional frequency spectrum,the frequency measurement algorithm through the analysis and comparison of Zoom-FFT,Rife and CZT three kinds of high precision,FFT-CZT presents a combined algorithm of frequency estimation based on the scheme.The simulation results of FFT-CZT joint algorithm and traditional spectrum analysis method show that the proposed scheme can effectively improve the frequency estimation accuracy of the system.On the hardware realization,according to the requirements of the new generation 155 Doppler velocity radar system,this paper presents a real-time signal processing system based on FPGA for the velocity radar of the Doppler.The EP3C25F256I7 chip in Cyclone series of Altera company is used to complete the data cache in the system,the hardware implementation of FFT-CZT joint algorithm and the data interface design of FPGA and ARM processor.And the system performance is tested and error analysis,the test results show that the system can achieve real-time Doppler radar signal with high-speed and high-precision processing.
