Research On The Practice Of The Mass Media Of The Chinese Communist Party During The Yan'an Period

This study selected Yanan period (from 1935.10 to 1948.3 when the Red Army arrived in northern Shaanxi Wuqi to MAO Zedong leaving to Yellow River) as the research object, in which time the CCP newspaper are under the guide of mass line. The paper is mainly based on analysising the historical facts of content and interviewing on the parties, in combination with the present situation of public opinion. The diachronic and synchronic study is for enlightening the news dissemination practice of media and rectifying the misplaced value of the marketing media.Yanan period forward link of left-wing literature in the 1930 s.20 s of the May 4th literature, and backward link to the modern and contemporary Chinese literature, and it also has experienced special process from "the passive enlightenment of the foreign thoughts " to" the active construction of national community" and from individual enlightenment to the group of enlightenment.In previous studies, "Yanan period", "the CCP newspaper" and "mass line" are roughly respectively in different areas and not in an organic combination because of attaching to the revolution paradigm, and lacking of academic imagination.Judging the research achievement about Yanan period, the involvement issue has existed on the aspects of content, frameworks and methods. In addition to the accumulation of material, the enlightening and helping research works are still patchy. Specifically, first, narrating revolutionary discourse are strong, while the deep analysis and verification about the architecture of its origin, cultivation of value, rational judgment and cognitive courage hadn't really entered the stage, and other disciplines ahead of us. Second, the research about the characters, events, case analysis in historical material was not back to the history occurred on daily scenario. The Yanan period which has space-time connection is parted by the value judgment. Third, journalism and communication studies about Yanan period are much about fragmentation gleanings and unconsciously academic concern, which are not theoretical and systematical. The reverse of research and academic reflux did not have a significant meaning on a larger scope, the influence of the formed section of academic research under the mass line are not formed.The study about "Yanan topic" in journalism and communication circles is a kind of mission for the media scholars. This is the starting and the ending point of this study. Its value should be obvious, pressing, intellectual and historical no matter in theory or practicing.Based on this,I go back to the driven theory, history and era of reality in Yanan period when the CCP newspaper were under the guidance of mass line. I attempt to outline how the CCP newspaper in Yanan period presents the scene that doing everything for the masses, all rely on the masses, from the masses, to the masses in the way of the political communication, mass communication, cultural communication, construction of the news theory. And the study found that the "Yanan Model" has triple effect, first, the masses and the mass line are confirmed as a kind of news political rational practice; second, the media technology and the share of news political significance reconstruct the ethnic community. Third, the elite news culture and mass culture discourse are in the same atmosphere.On the basis of this, beyond geographical space, time, space, "Yanan value" for the recent news public opinion work undoubtedly have important enlightenment significance. First, the mass line is the source of theory and technology support for the CCP newspaper. The theoretical enlightenment is that adhere to the positive publicity, expand the mainstream public opinion are a kind of practice in the future. Second, when the commercial interests, the media interests and the audience interests struggle against and weigh the standoff, the interests of the audience is bound to become the starting and ending point of news activities under the market-oriented media and new technologies.Again, there must be a point among the national narrative, elite narrative, public narrative to dispel standoff, integrate divided public opinion. Finally, it should balance the desire in the news propaganda, public opinion guide, science, education and mass entertainment, and cultivate and construct the mainstream spreading lead and the spread of public opinion direction structure, which is required for recent days.
