With more and more attention to environmental protection consciousness in the world, the gas analyzer in the society has been more and more marketed.Infrared gas analysis system in this design is used to measure the factory or industrial combustion emissions and automobile exhaust emissions of toxic and harmful gases, such as concentration of carbon oxides. The purpose of this design are monitoring of indoor air quality, controling and reducing environmental pollution, improving the quality of life, protecting the ecological environment. The usage of pure analog signal processing and temperature control is a basic way of infrared gas analyzer in most domestic production, but the method has complex circuit, vulnerable to interference, the measurement accuracy is not high, and the control precision is low, long response time etc.The main content of this paper is on the market in the existing sensors, such as infrared sensors(infrared carbon dioxide sensor MK400),temperature sensor(LM75A)on the basis of the input signal,in order to build a Nios? as the core processing unit of the FPGA system on FPGA,using the Nios? core to control the operation of the system.Design and Simulation of the design of hardware circuit in the Quartus? development environment, the realization of driver application programs and various hardware using C language, and the design result is output to the CORE2-5SD Cyclone ? series FPGA EDA development board to complete the design. The design and implementation of a range in the range of 0-5000 ppm with temperature compensation model of digital infrared analysis system, supplemented by determining the temperature compensation coefficient of a large number of experiments, the concentration measurement after the compensation precision reached 5%,with the final concentration of carbon dioxide gas standard measurement to verify the design results.
