The Mongolian News Website Reported On The Research

Since People’s Republic of China and Mongolia established diplomatic relations in 1949, both nations have achieved fruitful results in the fields of politics, economy, society, culture and art, science and technology in the 60 years of exchanges and cooperation.This paper selects China related reports from Mongolia’s news website News (www.news.mn) during the period of 2011 to 2015 of the as samples, analyzed and summarized these reports from the perspective ofnews focus, level of attention and the tendency of reports and concluded the image of the country Chinese in the website through the analysis.This thesis consists of three parts:the introduction, the main part and the conclusion. The introduction mainly introduces the reason, the purpose and the present situation of the research on the website of www.news.mn. The main part consists of three sub-parts. The first part is a statistical analysis of the the news coverage of China in news.mn. In this paper,1707 reports are divided into six categories:politics, economy, society, literature and art, science and technology, and military. In each part, typical reports were selected to be analyzed. The second part of the main body of the study of news.mn is on the construction of China’s national image. From the study of political image, economic image and social image, China has been reported as a country with a developed economy and a friendly neighbor, but it is also a country with more strict control over the whole society. In the third part of the text, the author discusses some problems on the news sources and coverage of news.mn on China, and puts forward some suggestions on improving the communication and cooperation between China and Mongolia in the field of news media and improving the image of China in Mongolian mass media.
