Petrochemical industry is the basis of China's energy industry, with the rapid development of the industry, in the production process of the security incidents are emerging, these accidents are usually brought about serious loss of personnel and property. To develop a reasonable and effective contingency plans for emergency personnel to conduct emergency drills in the face of emergencies when dealing with rapid decision-making to reduce the losses caused by the accident, making the distress personnel can reasonably hedge. The emergency drill system can meet the actual demand well. Because the emergency drills involve dealing with the disposal of emergency and other information, including location information, the UWB positioning technology can provide good support to the system.In this paper, the localization algorithm based on UWB technology is studied and designed. First of all, it briefly introduces and compares some commonly used radio technologies, such as RFID (radio frequency), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and so on. The basic principle of UWB technology is introduced in detail, including the basic introduction of UWB and the main advantages of UWB wireless location technology compared with other wireless location technologies. At the same time, two commonly used UWB signal generation methods are given. Thirdly, several mainstream indoor location algorithms and their geometrical models are introduced. And the TDOA\TOA hybrid localization algorithm which is used in the present location is discussed in detail. Then, a UWB positioning system model is proposed in this paper, including positioning tags, positioning sensors, data processing center, host computer interface, and each part is described in detail. Finally, according to the model, the positioning system of emergency drill based on UWB is designed and described in detail in hardware and software implementation. The software is divided into teacher and student, and the teacher end includes training training emergency scene The configuration and management, the students mainly realize the students according to the teacher to select the scene or mode of training.Based on the UWB positioning system model, this paper designs and realizes the positioning system based on UWB in the emergency drill, and confirms the feasibility and scientificity of the proposed system by rich theoretical research.
