Precious paper files is historical record, the witness of human social practice, and also a cultural heritage link. It has important research value for today's scientific research, production and daily life. But as the years went by, the paper files is facing acidification embrittlement, mildew, moth, fire and other dangers. Therefore, more and more archives and museums put these precious paper files into electronic document for digital information preservation.After the paper files digitization, paper files of sealing protection has become a need to solve the problem. At home and abroad at present, there have been archives and museums which already make a start in plastic vacuum sealing protection, plastic vacuum filling nitrogen seal, "four control" special fitting used for paper files after the digital seal save. However, exactly what kind of sealing protection method is more effective to paper files stored without any word. Accordingly, in order to provide important theoretical reference after the paper files digital protection, this paper mainly carried out the following several aspects:1. Before systematically studying protection effect of the three methods of sealing guard. First of all, the composition and structure of paper, the common handwriting of paper files and un-durable factors were introduced, providing theoretical basis for the study of the three kinds of methods of sealing protection. Through consulting the literature shows that the temperature, humidity, illumination, acid gases and other external conditions is the most important factors which caused the paper to un-durable. In addition, the factors which handwriting is not durable includes the writing material type, the combination of the handwriting and paper and external factors (light, humidity, Acid and alkali etc.).2.The paper introduced the common three kinds of sealing methods, compared the evaluation on it and studied the three sealing protection method respectively to the writing paper and archives protection effect through the experiment, mainly through testing samples under three kinds of sealing protection methods of paper tensile strength, folding strength, tear resistance, such as acidity, whiteness index to compare three methods of sealing protection effect is good or bad; In the research of archives writing effects, mainly by measuring the writing on the paper color's change. Considering various experimental data, we can see that:"four control" special fittings in both paper and paper files handwriting protect slightly better results than other two methods of sealing protection.3. Based on the above conclusions, in order to explore effect of different reasons, the gas in micro environment of enclosed seal protection were studied. By designing the extraction technology of these gases and using GC-MS for releasing gas, we carried on the comprehensive testing analysis. The results show that gas composition in the enclosed sealing methods is complicated, but acid gas (such as acetic acid) occupied a large proportion.4. Acetic acid gas in enclosed micro-environment was studied in the paper and the influence of the handwriting, and the mechanism of action of three methods of sealing protection were discussed. We can know:although plastic vacuum and plastic vacuum filling nitrogen sealed protection can isolate the acidic gas, gas oxidation, microorganisms, etc., but neglected the enclosed micro-environment protection will produce large amounts of acid gases, and these gas has a significant influence on paper and archives writing; "four control" special fitting is a kind of vented seal protection, and fire prevention, acid proof, insect-resistant, mould proof, it can be interlinked with the outside the oxidation of the external acidic gas, gas, microorganism, etc., and protect the paper files.
