Inner Mongolia Bank Information System Monitoring Platform Design And Implementation

With the development of Bank of Inner Mongolia's all the business, more and more information systems have been applied to various banking business of Bank of Inner Mongolia, thus the situation of paralleled application systems has been formed. As a regional commercial bank, there are a wide range of types of business contained by Bank of Inner Mongolia. There are also a variety of related software and hardware which are used to support the business systems, and because the different application systems have a certain kind of connection, so the complicated networks have been formed. In order to carry out banking business smoothly, the security of Information Technology systems'operation must be guaranteed. Therefore, the steady operation of information system has become the basis and key to the carrying out of the various banking business in Bank of Inner Mongolia.Traditional system maintenance mainly relied on manual work, which has a series of disadvantages like slowing in responding to events, the longer cycle in malfunction elimination, the difficulties in distribution management of the system and the knowledge of operation and maintenance management cannot be shared efficiently. All of the disadvantages above can seriously restrict and influence the support of technology operation and maintenance department to banking business as well as the reputation of the science and technology department. Therefore, such operation and maintenance management is not only passive, but also has no link to business application. The events handling ability of application system can be improved by establishing the platform of information system monitoring, discovering the abnormal situation during the daily operation process of application system timely and warning for automatic processing combined with manual handling as well as shortening the handling time for interruption and recovering of application system services. In this case, both the life-span of the usage of application system and the overall level of outward service can also be promoted.This paper intends to explore and analyze the establishment of the information system's management and monitoring platform of Bank of Inner Mongolia based on the characteristics and the scale of Information Technology of the regional commercial bank, in order to realize real-time discovering and quick positioning of malfunction during the process of operation and management. Besides, this paper will also analyze the range for the monitoring of monitoring platform of Bank of Inner Mongolia which includes business system and other IT infrastructures, thus finally to work out and provide some suggestions on optimizing and constant improving of the centralized monitoring platform of information system.
