With the further deepening of the Internet development, the way of information dissemination has undergone sweeping changes. It has been changed from the mass media's one-way communication to the complex and diverse communication mode.in the we-media time.The whole thesis aims to reveal the characteristics?communication channels and communication process of cyber rumor, which depends on the communication psychology. It tries to analysis the problem from two aspects—from individual psychology and group psychology. Finally the thesis will present the problems when we arrange the cyber rumor and solutions we should take.The whole thesis is divided into seven parts. The first part of the introduction, describes the background and significance of this topic. Next in the review of the literature, it summarizes rumor and cyber rumor research result, and presents the research contents and research methods.In the second part of the definition and characteristics of network rumors, it summarizes the definition put out by the researcher home and abroad, and shows the four characteristics of network rumors. The third part demonstrates the communication channels and communication process, it analysis the channels in terms of interpersonal media?group communication and mass communication. It also displays the communication with case study. The fourth part mainly shows how Internet rumor communicates at the aspect of individual psychology. It shows how the chosen information into the psychological system and how it works. The fifth part mainly shows how Internet rumor communicates at the inspect of group psychology, such as deindividuation?group polarization?group infection. The sixth part makes a summary of the full text, which establishes main views and pointed out the shortcomings of the whole article.
