A Panoramic Image Restoration And Target Recognition System Design Based On Linear Array CCD Rotation Scanning

CCD is a charge-coupled-type imaging device.The project, which is based on the imaging of linear CCD rotated scanning, completes the reconstruction of panoramic images and the detection and recognition of specific targets with the experiment data.This paper consists of three parts of panoramic image restoration, target recognition and experiment. The main contents are listed as follows:The part of panoramic image researches on the algorithm of the panorama reconstruction.lt is based on building imaging model and establishes the mapping relationship between sequence scanning images and annular panoramic images. On the basis of this, it comes to the discussion of the correction of non-uniform radial imaging, the determination of the exact value of inner and outer diameters and ring frames of the annular images and the elimination of motion blur. And then, it leads to the restoration of annular panoramic images providing a basis for the following target recognition.The part of target recognition clearly defines what the target is firstly and preprocess the restored panoramic images with filtering, contrast adjusting, binaryzation and mathematical morphology methods.This paper uses the template matching methods, contour detection methods and invariant moment methods to recognition of specific targets and there is a comparison in the recognition effect of these algorithms.The part of experiment designs the corresponding software to read and write data and process images to complete the work of data reading between PCs and systems, the restoration of images and the validation of recognition algorithms with the static scanning experiment data.The recovered panoramic images have little distortion and the recognition rate is high with the system.All the requirements of the system design can be fulfiled and the project can be used in the intelligent transportation, security monitoring and other fields.
