With the increasing in the car ownership, cars bring convenience to people's life and at the same time, the parking problem is more obvious.If we can use web camera, the available parking place can use the monitoring of video information displayed on the map interface, let the user can have more choice for the free parking space near the destination, do not need to worried about the problem of parking.In this paper, the main content is done under the Linux system, it designed a parking space in real-time monitoring system based on ARM development platform.On the basis of the hardware circuit design, software transplant and design.We selected the ARM processor Exynos4412 as main control chip, embedded Linux operating system, selected the Wi-Fi, GPS, LCD screen, network camera on the hard ware, it module to cooperate with each other, realize the design requirements; Software, mainly to complete the whole set of system environment, including the boot loader, kernel, Android file of three parts, and further to develop the driver layer and application layer. Finally, the whole system was tested good and we verified the stability of the system design, the function of the parking space in real time monitoring system has been basically achieved.
