Optoelectronic tracking system is an integrated measuring device of optical, precision machinery technology, electronics, control theory and computer technology. A research for the servo control section of the optical tracking system is expanded in this paper.The principle, composition and important function of the optoelectronic tracking system are described in the paper. The development status and trend of the photoelectric tracking equipment at home and abroad are analyzed.According to the actual project technical index, this paper determines the overall composition and control strategy of the photoelectric tracking servo system, and designs the system according to the actual project. By analyzing and demonstrating, the permanent magnet DC torque motor is selected as the actuator, and the absolute photoelectric encoder is selected as the position measuring element. The control model of the servo system is established, and the current loop, speed loop and position loop are designed, analyzed and simulated one by one. Through the analysis and design, the high precision tracking control is realized by using the compound control strategy with speed feed-forward. Hardware circuit design is carried out with DSP (TMS320F2812) and FPGA (EP1C3T100I7) as the core, The circuit diagram of each main module is given.The software part of the whole system is designed, the realization process is described, and the flow chart of the main program module is given. The testing items and methods in the process of system debugging are described. According to the results of laboratory tests, the system meets the requirements of the system and meets the design expectation.
