| Electric control valve has been widely used in modern industrial control systems, and it is an essential control terminal device for the pipe network system. In some industrial environments, the control valve needs high control accuracy, response speed characteristics and strong adaptability and robustness. So the opening degree control characteristics research of control valve is important for industrial’s control qualities. The regulating performance of the control valve is decided by the executive part, and one of them is the electric actuator, it is widely used in the industrial production because of its’small size and high output torque. In this paper, the control characteristics of the electric control valve’s opening degree is studied based on its’mathematical model.In order to study the opening degree of the electric control valve’s control characteristics, the mathematical model of valve’s (high torque valves and small torque valves) opening control system is established based on the study of electric control valve structure and working principle, and the hardware and software is also designed for the electric control valve electric actuator position control, and the valve opening control experiment platform is also established.In order to verify the effectiveness of the established mathematical model and the reliability of the control algorithm, the simulation of the valve opening control system is completed in MATLAB based on the PID, fuzzy PID and Single Neuron PID Control Strategy. With respect to the PID controller, in the control of single neuron PID and fuzzy PID controller, the system has a shorter adjusted time, smaller overshoot and better anti-interference ability. In the experimental test, the valve opening degree is reflected by the number of motor encoder pulse, the control characteristics of the electric control valve is reflected by the electric actuator motor’s position closed-loop control characteristics. The single neuron PID and PID control algorithm is compared for the system’s step response, the experimental tests showed that the single neuron PID control has a shorter adjust time and a smaller overshoot.The correctness of the control system mathematical model and effectiveness of the electric control valve’s opening control algorithm is showed by the test results, the results provide a theoretical guidance for the opening control of industrial electric control valve, and it has some practical value. |
