Picture story books win readers'favor because of the special form of mixing pictures and words. With the increasing frequency of cultural exchange with foreign countries, China introduces a large number of foreign children's picture story books which affect the creation of Chinese local picture story books. This thesis targets children's picture story books which were translated and introduced from2000-2011and selects62books about social aspects topics as the final analyze and interpret objects, and combs the contents of children's picture story books about social aspects which introduced in last12years by China.This thesis is mainly divided into the following four parts:The first part is mainly discussing what is children's picture story books; the present development situation of children's picture story books; the relationship between children's picture story books and close social; and the contents research of children's picture story books.The second part is study methods and framework of the research. This thesis applies the method of literature, content analysis and hermeneutics to analyze the object of study, and ascertains ultimately the six main analytical dimensions which are sharing, helping, caring, thanksgiving, modesty and cooperation.The third part is the presentation of research results and analysis. According to the analysis of different subject's texts, summarizes the characteristics of all kinds of picture story books in the narrative and interprets the contents by applying the theory of children's literature, education and sociology.The last part is the conclusion. The introducing of foreign picture story books open up the creation of local picture story books and provide the references, but it also brings negative influences of Chinese children's development and teaching.
