| The rapid economic development of Shanghai has greatly changed people’s thinking and life style.Meanwhile,it has raised a higher requirement for the education.Traditional PE teaching mode has been unable to meet the needs of social development,and high school physical specialized education has failed to play an effective role in promoting students’ overall development,as well as improving the overall quality of students.The high school period is an important part of school education,and the reform of the special curriculum for high school physical education has opened a new path for the sports teaching in Shanghai.The guiding ideology of "health first,comprehensive education" is more in line with the development trend of The Times.Its main purpose is to cultivate students’ practical ability and innovative ability,to promote students’ interest in sports and hobbies,and to lay a good foundation for lifelong physical exercise.Research purpose:This study conducted a survey on the relevant indicators such as physical fitness and physical self-esteem in Shanghai high school physical specialized pilot schools and non-pilot schools,and conducted statistics and analysis on the obtained data.Through comparative study,the author observed whether there was any positive change in students’ physical fitness and physical self-esteem,so as to provide theoretical basis for the further development of special education for high school physical training and to provide theoretical Suggestions for the development of PE classes in non-pilot schools.Research methods:Document analysis,measurement,questionnaire and mathematical statistics were used in this paper to sample the high school in Shanghai.As the pilot high school,Nanyang middle school and Jiading No.1 middle school,,were selected.Among them,25 boys and 20 girls were randomly selected from Nanyang middle school,and 23 boys and 22 girls were selected from Jiading No.1 middle school.As the non-pilot high school,the No.2 High School Attached to Shanghai Normal University as well as Zhenru middle school were also selected.After a year of special sports teaching,the author measured and analyzed the criteria for the selected students in pilot schools and non-pilot schools.Research results:Body configuration aspects:(1)compared with the pre-implementation of specialteaching in high school,there was a significant difference in height and weight of male students in the pilot school(p<0.05)and there was no significant difference in other indicators(p>0.05).Meanwhile,there was a significant difference in pilot school females’ height(p<0.05),and no significant difference was found in other indicators(p>0.05).(2)Comparing students in pilot high school with those in non-pilot high school,there was a significant difference between male students’ weight and BMI(p<0.05),and there was no significant difference among female students’ height,weight and BMI(p>0 0.05).Physical function:(1)compared with the pre-implementation of special teaching in high school,there was a significant difference between pilot school males’ lung capacity and the step index(p<0.05),and there was a significant difference(p<0.05)in pilot school females’ step index(p<0.05),and no significant difference was found in other indicators(p>0 0.05).(2)Comparing students in pilot high school with those in non-pilot high school,there was a significant difference between male students’ step index(p<0.05),and there was no significant difference in other indicators.(p>0 0.05).In addition,female students’ step index exists significant difference(p < 0.05)while other indicators do not exist significant difference(p > 0.05).In terms of physical quality:(1)compared with the pre-implementation of special training in high school,there were significant differences among male height,weight,lung capacity,step index,sit-and-reach,50-meter running,1000 running,standing jump and pulse-up,and no significant difference was found in other indicators(p<0.05).Meanwhile,there were significant differences among female height,step index,sit-and-reach,800-meter running and one-minute sit-up in the pilot school(p<0.05),and no significant difference was found in other indicators(p>0.05).(2)Comparing students in pilot high school with those in non-pilot high school,there was a significant difference among the men’s 50-meter running,the standing jump and the pulse-up,and there was no significant difference in other indicators(p<0.05).In addition,there was a significant difference among the women’s 50-meter running,sit-and-reach,the standing jump and one-minute sit-up,and there was no significant difference in the other indicators(p>0.05).In terms of physical self-esteem:(1)compared with the pre-implementation of the special teaching of high school,the male students in the pilot school had significant differences in physical self-esteem(p<0.05),and the female students in the pilot school had significant differences in all dimensions of physical self-esteem(p<0.05).(2)Compared with students in non-pilot schools,only female students had significant differences in the dimension of physical condition(p<0.05),and no significant difference was found in other indicators(p >0.05).Conclusions:High school physical specialized education has a positive effect on some physical indicators of students,which can promote the physical development of students in high school.However,it has little effect on the physical self-esteem of high school students,or,maybe due to time,it didn’t reveal the linear relationship. |
