The current situation of primary school pupils’ extracurricular reading is not optimistic.The reasons are related to schools,teaching,family,students and many other factors.With the rapid development and popularization of computer and network technology,digital reading has gradually become the main way for human to get information.How to adapt to the development trend of digital reading,make up for the lack of extracurricular reading,and further promote extracurricular reading? This is an important subject that needs to be studied in depth.On the basis of the literature review,this study grasps the present situation of children’s digital library,digital reading and primary school students’ extracurricular reading;then,taking an experimental primary school in Shanghai as the research object,through the questionnaire survey,we know the current situation of the school reading,and clear the main problems,that is,the extracurricular reading needs to be widened.The depth of extracurricular reading needs to be excavated,and the evaluation of outside reading is lacking.On the basis of these problems,this study tries to explore the guiding problems of extracurricular reading from the following aspects: building a digital reading platform,recommending extracurricular readings,exploring the way of reading extracurricular reading,and exploring the evaluation of extracurricular reading.Through more than one year of practical research,the school built a digital library based on the learning situation.It has self-service reading module,reading test module,reading interactive module,activity display module,reading evaluation module and synchronous mobile terminal to meet the needs of students’ reading.Through the study,the principle of reading material recommended,and digital library as the platform,showing the required reading,reading,recommending reading three kinds of books,convenient for students to choose,guide students to read fun and promote classic reading.Taking the digital reading platform as the carrier,the organization leading mode based on the digital reading platform has been formed,that is,reading guidance,promotion and evaluation.The guide reads video for teachers,stimulates students’ interest in reading,and encourages students to develop common reading activities.Reading needs to be promoted.In reading,teachers use the method of penetrating reading in class and the method of extracurricular reading;teachers make task sheets to guide students to read,and teachers teach students to read in the process of reading.The last link of reading is the evaluation,the teacher compiling the test questions to form the game of breaking through the customs,testing the results of the students’ reading,and organizing the reading activities to show the results of the reading.In the whole process of guidance,teachers pay close attention to the whole process and understand the students’ reading situation.Throughout the process,we have always been able to interact online and offline,giving full play to the role of digital reading platform and realizing the depth of students’ reading.At the same time,a reading evaluation method based on the digital library is formed,which is based on the scientific evaluation of data and the comprehensive evaluation of various forms,so as to quantify the method of data evaluation.With the development of this study,the activities of "information-based + reading" in schools have been gradually deepened and perfected,and the comprehensive reading literacy of students has been greatly improved.As for how to avoid the drawbacks of digital reading,better integrate online and offline? How to make the digital library form a good operation mechanism? Such issues are the focus of follow-up studies in this study.
