With the rapid development of the Internet and multimedia,people's information environment has undergone great changes,the reading media and reading environment have also changed,and readers' reading behavior has become fragmented.Fragmentation reading is a special reading mode based on the mobile Internet.Using mobile applications such as WeChat,Weibo and WAP web pages have social reading in people's leisure time becoming more and more popular in daily lives,especially for young adults who plays an important role in media reading,their fragmentation reading behavior directly affects their learning and living.This study investigates the fragmentation reading behavior of college students in the mobile Internet environment,in order to knew its general fragmented reading behavior and professional learning fragmented reading behavior,offering some suggestions for reading services in the academic libraries.The paper follows the way from theoretical construction to empirical exploration,including four parts.The first part summarizes the research status of fragmentation reading behavior at domestic and abroad by using literature analysis method,defines the concept of fragmented reading,and compares the similar concepts of shallow reading,electronic reading and mobile reading,combined with the information behavior theory and reading theory,constructs the theoretical framework of college students' fragmentation reading behavior.The second part is based on the first part,designed the questionnaire to investigate the college student's current situation of fragmentation reading,and made a descriptive statistical analysis about the fragmented reading media,fragmented reading content,fragmented reading purposes,fragmented reading time and scene,fragmented reading behavior assessmentThe third part shared the same questionnaire with the second part,which aimed to investigate the status of university students' professional learning fragmented reading behavior.Using descriptive statistical method analyzed their WeChat and Web pages'behavior and how to uses the mobile library to read the professional fragmented information.Based on the theoretical research and empirical research,the fourth part put forward some reading service strategies,which is based on the two dimensions of general fragmented reading and professional learning fragmented reading.Including five aspects:fragmented reading media,reading content,reading literacy,professional learning,mobile library usage and training.
