The breadth of the scope of geography research and the complexity of the research content determine the map as the main carrier of geography teaching and learning activities.The new round of curriculum reform requires that the student's dominant position and the student's subjective initiative should be emphasized.The concrete manifestation in geography teaching is that teachers should strengthen students'practical ability and innovative thinking ability,so that students become the main body of the classroom and participate in the classroom actually.Under the background of the examination-oriented education,the high school geography classroom is mainly based on the teaching mode which pays little attention to the map learning and causes the poor ability of the students and the low participation level.This is the main reason that the students' geographical achievement is generally low.In order to improve the learning efficiency and thinking ability of the students,the author uses a series of teaching methods and strategies to improve students,drawing ability so as to make students more familiar and more profound with the map.In this way,the students can construct complete psychological map and obtain more accurate spatial positioning ability and spatial distribution knowledge.Naturally,it helps students improve the learning efficiency and develop a better thinking habits.The main content of this paper is based on the background of the new curriculum reform and is in accordance with the theory of pedagogy,psychology,brain science,geography.The research methods of this paper include:questionnaire survey method,experimental method,data analysis method,literature method,experience summary method and so on.Using the questionnaire survey to investigate the status quo of students' drawing ability and analyze the existing problems.The validity of the drawing ability improvement strategy proposed in this paper is verified by the experimental method and the data analysis method.First of all,in order to make the survey more Comprehensive and scientific,the questionnaire survey on the status quo of students'drawing ability is mainly based on the following aspects:map cognition,psychological map,map teaching,geography learning and drawing situation-So the students' drawing problems and the direction of the teachers should strive are both clear;Secondly,after reading a large number of literature,and interviewing the first-line geography teachers'experience and their own practice,the author propose the strategy of improving the ability of high school students.It mainly contains:teacher's grasping strategy,interest promotion strategy,teacher guidance strategy,activity promotion strategy,stage promotion strategy and the key points in strategy implementation process.All of above strategies are combined with the specific classroom teaching examples.The application scope and the specific operating methods of each strategy in the content of high school geography teaching is pointed out clearly,what is more,there are the actual maps which the students draws in the class.On the basis of using different strategies to improve students' drawing ability,this paper summarizes the vertical stage promotion strategy to improve students' drawing ability.After completing the detailed description of the two aspects of the strategy,the author summed up the key points of all the strategies when they were implemented and sublimated the strategy of improving the students' drawing ability.The data before the experiment Test and the data after the experiment Test are compared by using hypothesis test method.The validity of the strategy of "high school students' geography drawing ability promotion" is verified by the data.At the same time,the author combined with specific cases to analyze the effectiveness of the above strategy.The effectiveness analysis which is mainly based on the three-dimensional target analyzes the enhanced effects of the various types of ability of students.So as to further support the effectiveness of "high school students to enhance the ability to enhance the strategy of mapping".At last,it is concluded that the strategy of "high school student geography drawing ability promotion" used in this paper has a good effect on improving students' academic achievement and thinking ability and provides practical teaching practice reference for the majority of teachers.
