As quality-oriented education is implemented in an all-round way and teaching equipment and teaching contents are improved gradually,school PE activities are becoming more and more colorful.Because of P.E class involving many factors and its features,injury accidents occur now and then in P.E class.In recent years,some middle schools prohibit using some sports facility and stop having P.E class that are regarded as being dangerous.However,it limits students' psychology development of the youth.Meanwhile,it disobeys the aims of the public compulsories---improving constitution,improving health,improving physical quality.This paper aims to study the P.E safety issues in eight middle schools in Longang District,Shenzhen.It studies the occurrence and phenomenon of the P.E injury accidents mainly by using method of document,questionnaire,interviewing method,mathematical statistic method,comparative analysis approach and logical analysis method,finding that the frequency of occurrence of injury accidents in Longgang middle school is lower than those in other places.In order to understand why this phenomenon happens,we decide to find out the reasons by learning from the positive.This provides scientific basis and reasonable advice for education administrative departments and some schools to make related measures,making sure that P.E teaching is much better for students' health.Through analysis,we make some conclusions as follows:1.By making a survey,we find that middle school administrators in Longgang District are more responsible for the equipment and sites.They check the equipment in regular,and repair and update the equipment in time.School and teachers change their attitude toward students and pay more attention to P.E class by checking students'clothes.Meanwhile,P.E teachers organize the class in a more effective and scientific way,which makes the frequency occurrence of middle school injury accidents lower in Longgang District than those in Yangpu District in Shanghai and in Beijing.2.In P.E class,teachers organize the class with class discipline.In fierce competition,teachers teach students to bear the rule in their mind.In sports training,professional coaches are responsible for training the students.The strong safety awareness and scientific teaching organization have a positive influence on lowering middle school injury accidents in Longgang District,Shenzhen.Some middle schools in Longgang District,Shenzhen think highly of the school safety awareness.They propagandize school safety awareness by P.E theory class,class meeting,campus broadcasting and so on.Besides,they instill students' awareness of self-production to protect themselves from being hurt in the injury accidents.3?As for the factor of management,the management system in Longgang District,Shenzhen is more advanced and the policies are implemented better.Both school and parents pay more attention to it.It is worthy of being learned and imitated by other schools.4?Because its higher frequency occurrence of injury accidents and the serious results of injury accidents,gymnastic is canceled or its difficulty is lowered by some schools.5?Compared with other middle schools,the injury accidents occurred in some middle schools in Longgang District,Shenzhen are fewer than those in other areas.But in order to promote the implementation of sports activity education,the author gives some advice as follows:lowering sports injury accidents should not be regarded as an excuse that the difficulty of gymnastics should be lowered or gymnastics and track and filed class should be canceled;schools and teachers should realize the teaching objectives,and meanwhile they should takes some measures to reduce the injury accidents in P.E class.
