In 2004,the new curriculum reform swept the whole country, and the establishment of history elective courses has become a major highlight of the reform.However, in the past 10 years of the implementation of the new curriculum, many problems concerning the teaching of the high school history elective module courses have been exposed in the implementation process. Of course, under the current college entrance examination system and the competitive social pressure, the complete change of the traditional teaching pattern and the realization of the new curriculum reform are bound to face many obstacles. However, if the majority of high school history teachers do not think of ways actively to overcome these obstacles, the concept of the elective courses will always remain in the theoretical stage, let alone the implementation. This study focuses on the development and implementation of high school history elective course resources, and the main contents are as follows:The introduction first expounds why this essay chooses this research question and the present study of the development and implementation of the history elective course resources. Besides, through the analysis of the present study, the author found that there are few researches concerning the development and implementation of history elective course resources. The first chapter dissertates the definition of high school history elective course resources.Besides, through this paper points out the necessity of the development of course resources in the course of history elective courses. The second chapter discusses the development and implementation of high school history elective course resources, taking Wang Anshi reform as an example.The third chapter includes reflect on the problems arising from the development and implementation of the history elective course resources. Some suggestions are also put forward in this chapter. At last, this paper also discusses the developing direction of the development and implementation of high school history elective course resources as well as the problems that should be further studied.
