Based on the background of the modern generation’ s development, together with the theories of flexible management and class management, some approaches such as a case study, documentary research,a survey and an interview were adapted to evaluate the feasibility of applying the flexible management theory to an all-boys class in a secondary vocational school.Based on a survey concerning the status of the class management of L Secondary Vocational School,D District, three reflections regarding class management and existing problems’resulted from extensive research.Problems were identified in the school administration, head teachers’training and class management methods.By integrating the advantages of both traditional Chinese class management and foreign class management theories,a new, more suitable way.of management---flexible class management-was created.Through an experiment(case study)among Class 13’ s students, who major in electronics, findings were made that to better manage the class the following must be well-balanced:rigidity vs.flexibility;shouting vs.silence;granting rights vs.making obligations;teacher-management vs.self-management;and motivation through rewards vs.motivation through punishment. In addition, explore the implementa-tion strategy of the all-boys class of flexible management in secondary vocational school.
