In senior high school Chinese teaching,the teaching of reading undertakes a large number of tasks in cultivating middle school students' core competence including listening,speaking,reading and writing ability,the ability to find information points,the ability to analyze social hotspots,the ability to inherit and carry forward Chinese traditional culture,the ability to deal with things and the ability to stay calm and press forward.The training of these abilities is also in line with the requirements of “Ordinary High School Chinese Curriculum Standards(Experiment)”and Chinese Teaching Objectives.In addition,from the Chinese test papers of College Entrance Examination in recent years,there is a trend of strengthening reading comprehension.Therefore,the status of the teaching of reading in Chinese teaching becomes more and more important.The explorations and researches led by teachers becomes deeper and deeper.However,there are several problems existing in many high school Chinese reading classrooms–the separation of "teaching" and "learning",the ignorance of students' dominant role in the classroom and lack of thorough thinking when choosing reading texts,clear standards of the teaching of reading,scientific teaching evaluation and appropriate class operation strategy.Hence,this paper researches on how to give a successful Chinese reading class in senior high school from the perspective of "teaching based on learning" in order to find some operable strategies.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction part,which mainly introduces the background,significance,purpose and related literature review of the teaching of reading from the perspective of “teaching based on learning” in senior high school Chinese teaching.The second part is the theoretical interpretation of the concept of "teaching based on learning",its significance in the teaching of reading and its theoretical basis which can back up the following detailed research.The third part mainly elaborates the present situation of the teaching of reading from the perspective of “teaching based on learning” in teaching of Chinese reading in senior high school.The fourth part discusses the characteristics and basic standards of “teaching based on learning” in teaching of Chinese reading.In this part,the author elaborates the characteristics of “teaching based on learning” from five aspects which arepurpose,content,plan,requirement and cohesion.At the same time,the basic standards are discussed from the aspects of humanistic care,reading expectation,the timeliness of reading and quality-oriented education of Chinese.The fifth part is about the author's exploration combining the above theory and his own Chinese teaching experience at the level of classroom operation.At the same time,the author comes up with a few ideas on classroom operation and hopes that these exploration can arouse Chinese teachers' attention on these problems.
