Research On Sharing Strategies In The Context Of 5-6 Years Old Children's Games

This study takes three groups of young children in a kindergarten as the research object.The author mainly uses the method of observation,aiming to do a research on 5 or 6 years old children's sharing strategy in the game situation and pays attention to sharing and interactive process,as well as the characteristics of strategy use and effectiveness in the game situation.Based on it,the author is trying to put forward some related educational suggestions.Studies indicate that there are three kinds of sharing,i.e.the active sharing of the shar er,the induced sharing of the sharer and the compulsory sharing of the sharer.In activ e sharing,the sharer mainly adopts the strategies of inviting,suggesting,giving and sh owing.In contrast,in the induced sharing,the sharer mainly employs the strategies of inquiring,negotiating,speaking out his/her mind,onlooking,seeking for recognition a nd pleasing others.Also,in the compulsory sharing,the sharer usually uses strategies of forcibly occupying,seeking help from teachers,ordering,threatening and making tr ouble.According to the studies,the researcher summarizes the main characteristics of sharing strategy use:positive strategy is more than negative strategy,language tendency strategy is more than action tendency strategy,success sharing is more and the sharing objects are mainly toys.Plus,the attitude of the sharer and the game situation will have influence on the use effect of sharing strategy.Therefore,the researcher offers five suggestions for the teachers:pay attention to the sharing process of young children in the game,treat young children's unwillingness of sharing correctly,strengthen the role model effect,create the opportunity and condition of sharing as well as help young children learn positive sharing strategy.
